Anthropic SLA credit guide
What Anthropic's own agreement actually says about availability: no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process, so there is nothing to file for a bad month — plus where a service level for Anthropic would live if you have one, and the outage record Ontracko keeps regardless.
What SLA credit are you owed when Anthropic is down?
Anthropic publishes NO availability SLA at all — no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process — so there is nothing to file for a bad month, and any "Anthropic uptime guarantee" figure circulating elsewhere did not come from Anthropic's own terms. If you have a service level with Anthropic, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where the commitment and any remedy actually are. Ontracko monitors Anthropic for free either way and keeps the dated outage record, which is what a renewal conversation runs on. One more thing about the deadline, because Anthropic not stating one is not the same as there being none: file promptly anyway. A contract can carry a limitation period nobody printed, evidence ages badly, and the status-page record a claim is built on is easiest to defend while it is fresh. If Ontracko shows a date against a Anthropic claim, that date is our own monitoring reminder rather than anything Anthropic set — we will never let it expire a claim, and you should never quote it to Anthropic as their window.

Credit tiers by service
No filable service credit exists for Anthropic (Commercial Terms of Service — no availability SLA published) under the standard agreement — not a tier table gap, a genuine zero. NO AVAILABILITY SLA AND NO SERVICE CREDIT — AND THE SERVICES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, WHICH MAKES THIS A HARDER SILENCE THAN A DOCUMENT THAT MERELY OMITS THE SUBJECT. Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service (effective June 17, 2025) were read in full: the phrase "Service Level Agreement" does not occur in them, and they state no availability percentage, define no uptime and establish no service credit. The two paths that would hold one do not exist — anthropic.com/legal/sla and anthropic.com/legal/enterprise-terms both return 404. THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE SILENCES HERE AND THEY ARE NOT THE SAME FACT. FIRST, THE BLANKET DISCLAIMER: §L.2, Disclaimer of Warranties, provides that "EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR IN THESE TERMS, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER LAW (A) THE SERVICES AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND" — the "as is" AND "as available" pairing, covering the core Services rather than a beta carve-out. SECOND, AND ADDITIONALLY, UNINTERRUPTED USE IS DISCLAIMED BY NAME: the same clause states that "ANTHROPIC DOES NOT WARRANT, AND DISCLAIMS THAT, THE SERVICES OR OUTPUTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT THEIR USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED." A document that is merely silent leaves room for an implied expectation of continuity; this one closes it expressly, and that is its own finding rather than a restatement of the first. A HEAVY INCIDENT RECORD IS NOT A REMEDY, and this is the expectation this entry exists to correct: at the time of this read Anthropic carried 46 status-page incidents in the trailing 60 days, among the highest in this catalog, so a customer watching that timeline will reasonably assume something is owed for it. Under the published terms, nothing is. OPERATOR NOTE ON THE FEED: status.anthropic.com now 301-redirects to status.claude.com — the feed still resolves, but the canonical host has moved. IF A CUSTOMER HOLDS AN AVAILABILITY COMMITMENT FOR ANTHROPIC, THE ONLY PLACE IT CAN LIVE IS THEIR OWN SIGNED ORDER FORM OR NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT — unpublished, and not verifiable from here. Read that agreement before asserting any figure. Primary source read 20 September 2026.
Is there a Anthropic SLA credit to file?
No — there is nothing to file. Anthropic’s standard agreement doesn’t pay a per-incident service credit, so filing a claim would go nowhere. Ontracko still tracks Anthropic’s uptime record for free, which is real leverage in a renewal conversation even without a claimable credit.
Frequently asked
What is Anthropic's SLA uptime commitment?
Anthropic does not publish one. Its own agreement states no uptime percentage anywhere, so there is no commitment to quote — any figure attributed to Anthropic elsewhere did not come from Anthropic's terms. If you hold a negotiated Order Form, any availability commitment you have lives there.
Does Anthropic pay an SLA service credit?
No — and there is no commitment behind it either. Anthropic's published agreement states no uptime percentage and provides no service credit, so there is no figure to miss and nothing to file for a bad month. If you have a service level with Anthropic, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where any commitment and any remedy would be. Does Ontracko file Anthropic SLA credit claims for me?
No — Anthropic's standard agreement has no filable service credit, so Ontracko does not draft claims for it. Ontracko still monitors Anthropic for free and tracks the uptime record, which is useful leverage at renewal.
