Postman SLA credit guide
Postman does commit to an uptime percentage — and pays no service credit for missing it. What this page carries is the 99.9% monthly uptime commitment itself, why there is nothing to file against it, what Postman's agreement provides instead, and the dated outage record that is your leverage at renewal.
What SLA credit are you owed when Postman is down?
Postman's standard agreement pays NO filable SLA service credit for missing its 99.9% monthly uptime commitment. Where agreements in this class offer anything at all it is a termination or refund right after repeated consecutive misses — never money for a single bad month — and some offer nothing even then, so read the exclusions below and your own order form. Ontracko still monitors Postman for free (useful renewal leverage) but does not draft credit claims for it, so we won't tell you otherwise. One more thing about the deadline, because Postman not stating one is not the same as there being none: file promptly anyway. A contract can carry a limitation period nobody printed, evidence ages badly, and the status-page record a claim is built on is easiest to defend while it is fresh. If Ontracko shows a date against a Postman claim, that date is our own monitoring reminder rather than anything Postman set — we will never let it expire a claim, and you should never quote it to Postman as their window.

Credit tiers by service
No filable service credit exists for Postman Enterprise under the standard agreement — not a tier table gap, a genuine zero. NO SERVICE CREDIT EXISTS AT ALL — the New Relic / Segment / Datadog shape, with an extra gate on top. Postman's Enterprise SLA commits to 99.9% uptime for each calendar month but provides no credit mechanism whatsoever. The sole remedy: if Postman misses the commitment BY ANY AMOUNT for THREE CONSECUTIVE months, or four months out of any twelve, then within thirty days following the conclusion of that third consecutive month the customer may terminate the affected Orders on thirty days' prior written notice, without cancellation fees, and is entitled to a pro-rated refund of unearned prepaid fees. A single bad month, or even two consecutive bad months, pays nothing and grants nothing. NOTE THE DISTINCTION FROM creditModel "gated_percent": LaunchDarkly's gate leads to MONEY once met, so it drafts a protective claim; Postman's leads only to a termination right, which is a commercial decision for the customer and not a claim Ontracko can file — hence "none". SOURCE CAVEAT: the live SLA page renders its terms through client-side JavaScript and could not be read directly; the wording above is transcribed from Postman's OWN archived version (Effective August 29, 2022, archived 09/15/2023) at postman.com/legal/archives/enterprise-sla-09152023/. Later search snippets of the live page repeat the same 99.9% figure, so the commitment appears stable, but confirm current wording before advising a customer to act on the termination right.
Is there a Postman SLA credit to file?
No — there is nothing to file. Postman’s standard agreement doesn’t pay a per-incident service credit, so filing a claim would go nowhere.
